  10. I’ve heard some people say to put a pan of water in the oven when your baking – it makes steam. I do it for bread and pound cake especially….

This tips may sound contradictory to the cake moist facts but I find them at their v.sharped point and the precession is at how often you try to achieve a perfect balance.

  22. Awesome, thanks Jillian โ˜บ๏ธ

  23. Exactly, these are the tips that actually work ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป

  24. I always decreased the temp, froze the cupcakes, and they turn out perfect virtually every time!

I’d love to get the recipe for that chocolate cake icing.

  28. I am so tired of cakes and cake recipes that are so over-moist that they’re a soggy mess. I watched this video to learn what NOT to do. So, I need to use convection, make sure it’s well done, get out of the pan right away, let it vent, store it in the open air. I already avoid drizzle of any kind, that one is common sense, unless you want trifle. Thanks! The rest of the world can just pour water on their cake – they’ll do fine with that, no need for fancy ice crystals, lol.

  29. AWESUM! THANK YOU VERY MUCH++

  33. Wow that’s great ๐Ÿ‘ ๐Ÿ‘Œ ๐Ÿ‘

  34. Thanks so much for these tips. I baked a cake a few days ago and decided for the first time to wait till the toothpick came out dry and he cake was definitely too dry. Will look for the springiness instead. And cooking in a regular oven vs convection is brilliant! I think I found the answer for my unfortunate domed cakes.

  35. Hi

  41. @repentforthekingdomofheave3153 November 18, 2024 at 9:10 am

    Thaaaaank you โค๏ธ

  42. Rubbermaid needs to make a cake holder thatโ€™s small enough that doesnโ€™t take up the whole fridge or if the cake doesnโ€™t need to be refreshed I use those instead of refrigerating, it has a nice seal and keeps cake or whatever I put in it nice and moist and tender too!

  43. Thank you for all these great tips. I don t enjoy very sweet desserts. What effect will reducing the sugar amount in a cake recipe have besides the taste. Will it cause the cake to be dense? How much can sugar be reduced without making any difference on the moistness of the cake?
