Do we have to use both upper and lower heating rods on while baking without fan? I read somewhere that only lower rod should be used for baking..snd secondly, do we have to lower the temperature further if we are using both the rods on? Pl reply

This video was really informative.
U freeze the cake while
Itโs wrapped ? Then leave it out on room temperature? When ready to work with it and decorate ?
Didn’t understand squat….
I’ve heard some people say to put a pan of water in the oven when your baking – it makes steam. I do it for bread and pound cake especially….
I LEANT a lot after a client complained thank you very much
Thumbs up. Thank you for the tips. Iโm a little nervous about the simple sugar, but Iโll give it a try. I also see Madonna and Jane Seymour in you ๐
Thanks for sharing
Add 2 teaspoons of food grade glycerine to your liquid before mixing in dry ingredients.
What about loaf cakes? How do you keep it moist after freezing it?
*watchin*
Thank you ma’am it help for me your 5 tipsโค
Wow u r so creative
I bake cake till it pulls away from the edges. We should test the thermostat from time to time. I had a terrible time one Christmas never thinking it was the oven
๐๐๐๐
question, won’t the simple syrup make the cake even sweeter?…..I HATE when a cake taste just like sugar๐ซ
This tips may sound contradictory to the cake moist facts but I find them at their v.sharped point and the precession is at how often you try to achieve a perfect balance.
‘This is my game changer’
Awesome, thanks Jillian โบ๏ธ
Exactly, these are the tips that actually work ๐๐ป
I always decreased the temp, froze the cupcakes, and they turn out perfect virtually every time!
my favourite part is when she puts the camera in the oven
I done icing on cake but after some time my cake become so dryy an harddd whyyyyyyy
I’d love to get the recipe for that chocolate cake icing.
I am so tired of cakes and cake recipes that are so over-moist that they’re a soggy mess. I watched this video to learn what NOT to do. So, I need to use convection, make sure it’s well done, get out of the pan right away, let it vent, store it in the open air. I already avoid drizzle of any kind, that one is common sense, unless you want trifle. Thanks! The rest of the world can just pour water on their cake – they’ll do fine with that, no need for fancy ice crystals, lol.
AWESUM! THANK YOU VERY MUCH++
Thanks โค๐
Thank You for this! Great tips!!!
๐ฎWow! Thank you so much for these tips! So much was like you said, what we’ve been told all our lives!
Wow that’s great ๐ ๐ ๐
Thanks so much for these tips. I baked a cake a few days ago and decided for the first time to wait till the toothpick came out dry and he cake was definitely too dry. Will look for the springiness instead. And cooking in a regular oven vs convection is brilliant! I think I found the answer for my unfortunate domed cakes.
Hi
How much is 170g milk in ml
Thanks a lot dear am from Uganda ๐บ๐ฌ
Youโre a genius Jill ๐
I thought this was Mina from the HGTV shoe Good Bones.
But really great advice.
God bless you so much๐๐๐๐๐.
Whoa, thatโs one heavy toothpick.
Thaaaaank you โค๏ธ
Rubbermaid needs to make a cake holder thatโs small enough that doesnโt take up the whole fridge or if the cake doesnโt need to be refreshed I use those instead of refrigerating, it has a nice seal and keeps cake or whatever I put in it nice and moist and tender too!
Thank you for all these great tips. I don t enjoy very sweet desserts. What effect will reducing the sugar amount in a cake recipe have besides the taste. Will it cause the cake to be dense? How much can sugar be reduced without making any difference on the moistness of the cake?
Thanku thanku

Hello Jillian, can I frost a frozen cake and not wait for it to thaw? Just would like to get your expertise on that situation. Thx
OMG, you’re a genius! I’ve been doing so many things wrong, starting with that dang toothpick trick we all were misled with since childhood! Thank you!
Thank you ๐๐พ! Where were you two cakes ago!๐ฅฐ
